Estudyantepreneur: embracing youth, nurturing creativity

 

The atmosphere in the room was electric, a distinctive excitement exclusively available in a room of youthful entrepreneurs. A few weeks ago, I was able to see the Estudyantepreneur initiative in action; it is an honour to review it here. This was not your average school fair; this was a display of passion, inventiveness, and the power of taking your passion and creating income with it.It was a hive of activity. Students were engaged and showcased their entrepreneurial skills in a variety of ways. There were tables topped with beautifully made bracelets as well as fun games which drew enthusiastic crowds. Laughter filled the air, mixed with the excitement of student services. People were showcasing their business skills, go-getting the marketing and selling of their dedicated passion.

But there was more than that. For me, the

highlight of the day was the surprise cooking challenge for teachers! The students organized everything from finding the ingredients to setting up the judging panel. The smell of great food filled the air with the students showing off their cooking skills and creating a full experience. And of course, there was a food stall selling various tasty delectables, further showing their entrepreneurial spirit and ability to seize the moment.

What impressed me the more than the collection of amazing products and services being offered as part of Estudynteenpreneur, was the spirit of innovation, creativity and collaboration. These students were more than just selling things; they were building businesses, learning skills and working with a sense of pride and ownership in what they were doing. They were taking learning from the classroom and applying it in a real world way, showing that education and entrepreneurship can, and should go hand in hand.

And if this experience is any indication, the future of entrepreneurship is bright and bold, overflowing the energy of young people making their dreams a reality while finding ways to make a profit.
