Thematic: The earth's embrace: nature challenges, human resilience

The

world is filled with exciting things to see and do. Each and every one of us has our own perspective on adventure. But what's more? What lies beneath the definition of "adventure"? We spend our days striving and chasing towards comfort and predictability simply because we exist in a world where comfort and routine are highly valued. We build walls to ensure that we're surrounded with familiarity and safety, but is that truly living?

Have we forgotten the thrill of igniting the unknown? I, myself, truly believe that adventure is about pushing our limits and stepping outside our comfort zones. So, will you trade your comfort and choose an empty life filled with familiarity? Or discover the beauty of mystery and have the desire to explore and discover?

As we embrace the good sides of the earth, we must also accept its flaws.

I, Reinalaine Bernardino, a student in Ilocos Sur National High School, will show the ways to advocate for the theme "The Earth's Embrace: Nature Challenges, Human Resilience." This theme focuses on our environment and our ability to adapt to its challenges.

Planting trees- it plays a vital role in our daily life as it is highly valued Ecological and Environmental. In adherence to

  http://www.mercycare.org/bhs/health-wellness/wellness-resource-library/the-importance-of-planting-trees/

Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate enhancement, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. Personal & Spiritual Value: Most of us react to the presence of trees with a pleasant, relaxed, comfortable feeling.

I, as an Smc student, use recycled materials in designing my projects to help the community to build or create a healthier planet for ourselves and future generations.

Cleaning our surroundings is a must; it is a responsibility that a man must do. As we learn to do it everyday, make it as a habit, we will be able to take a step ahead forward and build a healthy environment.
Moreover, one of my preview teacher also quoted that "Maysa nga aldaw, maysa nga akkaw" therefore, we can and we will.

My favorite part is adopting stray animals:)

They are part of the environment too!! I decided to include them because people do lose consciousness with their responsibility; which is to take good care of the animals. They deserve love and to be cherished!!

Quarter 1 Reflections: The Journey of Discovery and Growth

The first quarter of this journey has really been a fascinating exploration into the vast world of information about internet history and impact. There's been much discovered about the origins of the internet tracing from when it was just an idea to being the ubiquitous network it is today. I have learned about the pioneering minds who laid the ground for this technological revolution, people like Vinton Cerf, Robert Kahn, Tim Berners-Lee, and thousands of others who had the dreams of seeing a connected world through information. Their vision and commitment have left an indelible mark in history and have inspired me with their stories. I have found the existence of weblogs, which have helped shape the online discourse and given a voice to so many people. This has led me to satisfy this thirst regarding the digital landscape, its complex work, and the profound impact it embodies into the human life.

However, this journey has not been without its set of problems. The massive amount of information on the web coupled with discerning factual information from misinformation, the complex interplay of society and technology and the fast evolution of the digital landscape were some of the challenges against which I have had to grapple along the journey. Indeed, with ever-changing knowledge, keeping up-to-date remains a challenge with the promise of inaccuracy in responses.

Having all these issues, I considered the development of critical thinking skills, was

aware of source evaluation with a discriminating eye for their origin, and understood some biases that might affect the content online. I searched for different views, researched several sources, and continually fine-tuned the ability to analyze and interpret. On this journey, I have learned to seek, question assumptions, and remain adaptable when change suddenly comes one's way. It is a path of continued learning and constant striving towards understanding and improvement.

In the future, I would continue to chart and explore this vast digital landscape, understand more about the impact of the internet on society, and contribute to being able to ensure that technology is used responsibly and ethically. I will always make an effort to add to my knowledge base and hone my critical thinking skills while using my abilities to empower others to navigate the digital world with confidence and discernment. The journey has only just started, and I am more than ready with a sense of purpose and excitement that I face the challenges and opportunities ahead

Teaching: noblest profession, shaping the life of students.

education forms the very foundation for a meaningful life and thus acts as a journey that equips the human being with the fullest of his potential to add meaning to society. But it is not an easy journey, for one needs guidance, support, and inspiration-and in such endeavors, the teacher plays an irreplaceable role. They guide the path to knowledge, illustrate it with a beam of hope, and foster personal growth; they nurture the dreams of innumerable individuals.

Great teachers are more than just instructors; they are professional practicians who own deep knowledge of the subject and passion for teaching, with a real desire for their students to succeed. They have good communicating skills. They keep the students engaged, enlighten their imagination, and make learning enjoyable and fulfilling. They provide a safe environment of supportive learning for all the students, who are valued and respected.

Beyond the four walls of a classroom, the teacher is often a mentor and confidant and even a second parent to his/her students. He/she provides them with an ear that listens, a shoulder to cry on, and, most importantly, somebody to sympathize during trying times and celebrate with joyful appreciation. Teachers not only impart basic knowledge to children but also essential life skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and ethics.

Teachers are architects of the future, building minds and hearts that will shape its leaders, innovators, and compassionate citizens. Teachers instill in us enough and help us pursue our passions, take on challenges, and strive for excellence. They teach us about the world but also teach us about ourselves-how our strengths look like, how we overcome weaknesses, and how we can give more meaning to life.

A good teacher is a very profound, long-term influence on our lives. They shape our outlooks, make choices for us, and inspire us to bring changes into the world for the better. So many successes and achievements are born from their dedication and hard work, imbued with an absolute faith in their students.

October 5th, is the most special day for teachers because all of us will express our heartfelt thanks to them. Let's thank them for the sacrifices they have made, for facing challenges, and for the unyielding passion they have brought to the profession. Let's thank them for being dedicated to their students, to believing in us with a grit of iron for believing in our potential, and to love and guide us along the way.

Each day gives us the opportunity to acknowledge the great contributions teachers make. Let us appreciate their efforts, be open for learning, and strive for the best of us so we can thank them for all they have done in our lives. Let us not forget the legacy that a teacher creates beyond those classroom walls to inspire generations yet to come and build a better tomorrow for all of us.

President Bong-Bong Marcos

President of the Philippines
Malacanang Palace

Dear President Marcos

I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for your dedicated efforts to serve our beloved country.
Allow me to introduce myself, sir. My name is Reinalaine Rapin Bernardino, and I am currently a student at Ilocos Sur National High School.

I am deeply grateful for the actions ou have taken, sir. These were not just actions, but crucial steps towards improving our nation. You have remained righteous and stood for the truth. I am aware of the challenges you have faced along the way, as some Filipinos have opposed you. However, you did not let this discourage you; instead, you proved yourself worthy of the position of President.

In my moments of uncertainty, I often wonder about your plans for the future. Will the grading system be improved? Will you stay true to your words and promises?

It is true that I sometimes feel anxious and disheartened. However, knowing that you are genuine and working for our betterment, with your determination and intelligence, I remain hopeful that everything will be alright.
However, I cannot ignore the fact that we are currently facing several crises, including the issues of Alice Gou, POGO, West Philippine Sea, and Ma'am Sarah Duterte.

understand that all leaders have flaws, but I am curious how you plan to address these challenges. The Philippines, and this generation, are relying on you. A single call to action can have a profound and significant impact on our country.
I hope you will continue to inspire us and fulfill the responsibilities of the Presidency.

Sincerely yours,
Reinalaine Bernardino
